Welcome to Thyself, a browser extension and SaaS application designed to support your mental health journey. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

Thyself provides tools for mood tracking, journaling, and AI-powered mental health coaching. Access to features is determined by your subscription type.

  • Browser Compatibility: Thyself supports the latest version of Chrome on Windows and macOS. We are not obligated to support older browser versions, and functionality may be limited on unsupported platforms.
  • Service Availability: Thyself reserves the right to terminate services or suspend accounts without notice. No compensation is provided for downtime or service interruptions.

2. Eligibility

To use Thyself, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years old.
  • Obtain approval from a parent or guardian if you are under 18.

By using Thyself, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Browser Requirements: Users must access Thyself with the latest version of Chrome on Windows or macOS to ensure optimal functionality. Thyself is not responsible for bugs, security issues, or malfunctions resulting from outdated browsers.
  • Personal Use Only: The Thyself AI mental health coach is for personal use only. It is a guidance tool and is not a replacement for professional mental health support or therapy. Thyself is not responsible for any advice or guidance provided by the AI coach.

4. Account Usage

  • Account Sharing: Users may not share their account with others. Shared accounts may be terminated, user data deleted, and subscriptions canceled without refund.
  • Confidentiality: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Thyself is not liable for unauthorized account access due to negligence in protecting login details.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property related to Thyself, including but not limited to software, branding, and content, is owned by The Wholesome Technology Company Ltd. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Thyself application without explicit written permission.

6. Third-Party Integrations

Thyself integrates with third-party services such as OpenAI for AI coaching, Supabase for authentication, Stripe for payment processing, and Google for authentication. Users are subject to the terms and policies of these services when using Thyself. We are not liable for disruptions, errors, or issues resulting from third-party service failures.

7. Subscription Plans and Payments

  • Free Tier: Thyself offers a free tier with limited features.
  • Paid Subscriptions: Access to premium features and increased usage is available through paid subscription plans.
  • Refund Policy: Refunds are available within 24 hours of purchase. Contact support@wholesome.design to request a refund.
  • Price Adjustments: Thyself reserves the right to adjust subscription pricing. Users will be notified in advance if pricing changes impact active subscriptions.

8. Service Downtime and Compensation

Thyself strives to maintain high service availability but does not guarantee uptime.

  • Service Outages: Refunds will not be issued for temporary outages.
  • Extended Downtime: If Thyself is unavailable for more than 25% of the time in a given month, users may request a refund for up to one month’s subscription value.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

  • AI Guidance: The Thyself AI mental health coach is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional mental health care or therapy. Users should consult a licensed professional for mental health concerns. Thyself is not liable for any outcomes resulting from the use of the AI coach.
  • Service Issues: Thyself is not responsible for damages resulting from service outages, bugs, or technical issues.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Thyself is operated by The Wholesome Technology Company Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom.

  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
  • Dispute Resolution: Any disputes will be resolved exclusively through the legal system of the United Kingdom.

Thyself reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant updates via email or in-app notifications. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
